Drum Roll Please...

It worked!  We made the next and biggest hurdle and I am currently 4.5 weeks pregnant!  I know that sounds very confusing since I had my implantation less than two weeks ago, but I'll attempt to explain that in a bit.  I am SO excited for my IP's and this strong little peanut I'm growing!  Hooray!! Example of a 5 day blastocyst (embryo)  Backing up to Saturday July 8th - my parents had taken the kids for the night so we could have a date night and Mike could take me to the transfer in the morning.  It was a pretty normal morning but right before it was time for me to take my Valium and leave for the clinic I definitely got very nervous. Third Time IS a Charm!

Can you hear me squealing and picture me doing the happy dance??  My natural cycle worked!!! It actually worked!!  I'm trying not to get too excited since this is only phase one of the process, but I really am SO EXCITED!! I went in for a baseline ultrasound on Thursday June 22nd and everything looked good.  I was told to keep taking my prenatal vitamins and add back in aspirin but that was it :) Easy peasy!  The following Wednesday I began taking ovulation tests since the timing on when I naturally ovulate and the implantation are very important.  The success rate drops dramatically even if we are off by one day.  I was also prescribed a trigger shot, in case during one of my ultrasounds things looked good to go I could trigger my own ovulation and the could be 100% sure of when it happened.    One week from my baseline ultrasound I went back in.
